Biography
Maria de Luca is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Giovanni de Luca and Angela Fratello, who married in 1746. I estimate she is born no later than 1766.
Maria marries Salvatore Vella, son of the late Nicolo’ Vella and Emerenziana di Giovanni, on 20 September 1788. Her father has died by this time. This record does not give Angela's surname.[1]
Salvatore and Maria have at least one child, Emerenziana (c. 1789), named after her paternal grandmother.
Emerenziana marries Gioachino Gagliano on 25 April 1808. Her father has died by this time.[2]
